Martha's Quest

Trying to get my head around the New Tech Module - feels as if I have dropped a bag of marbles on the patio and they are all running around being chased by small children and tortoises and I cannot get them back into the bag.  Maybe that is the point.  Maybe I am just losing my marbles.

  1. I am trying to learn how to use a BLOG and to use it to reflect on my prep for the New Tech Module - I wonder whether you would be a friend and have a look and comment! I am really after thoughtful and provocative comments on the content but also need tech support - I am trying to be a friend - viewer ? - visitor ? - of myself - multiple identities !!!!!! Very Po-mo - but am unable to figure out how to comment on the blog from the outside - would be very grateful if you could have a look and lend me a hand and give me some input. Jackie AKA Martha

  2. Your blog is working perfectly! I don't really blog myself, although we had some learners use them for a while for reflective learning. The most important thing you can do is to tag your posts clearly. Once people start signing up to read your posts, and you start writing more, it can be a nightmare to track - so tags help you group everything together.

Great idea, Martha! Now you need to start asking exciting questions, of yourself and of others...
I agree with one of your early respondents: keep looking outwards and trying to engage others - think it's all about finding ways to hook 'em in!

Btw you can find all kinds of lively daily literary comment on various Facebook sites:
Project Gutenberg ... Open Culture ... Literature Works... Modernism Centre ... & many more!

    Cheers and good luck!
